You will recognise the blush tones of a sunset in the Pink City or the rich whites and creams of the marble inlay that adorns its palaces; through embroidery, we see the peacocks, flowers and leaves that have thrived in the gardens of this green city since generations past. These motifs are as clearly represented in the architecture of the space. The collection is inspired by Jaipur’s exquisite architecture, with its unique blend of Rajputana and Mughal motifs, which include geometric shapes and floral patterns, showing a remarkable intermingling of cultures.

For starters, the lehengas we have on display are majestic master works of immense charm and beauty—a testament to the precision and tenacity of the craftsmen who have created them with labour and love. The dori work, the sequin details, and the floral prints exhibited in our lehengas are among the finest anywhere. Our Winter 2019 catalogue features an enviable variety of traditional clothes that will appeal to true connoisseurs of ethnic fashion. However, with such an assortment of wardrobe choices, styling tips are understandably indispensable. It must be emphasized at this stage that the idea of pairing is only in the interest of accentuating an ensemble’s allure—not to draw attention away from it. Therefore, we recommend styling with care and moderation.  

An ideal place to start is with the Noshi Dress, an Indian traditional dress that draws heavily on the Victorian frock, with the inclusion of Indian embroidery. This sartorial masterpiece is best paired with white metal jhumkis, a cuff bracelet, and off-white Kolhapuris. For added pizzazz, you may wish to add a wristlet to the attire, preferably in a shade of beige or chalk grey. For a layered, sensual look, we suggest the Varali Set, which may be worn at festive occasions or family gatherings. The Varali Set is best adorned with silver pagoda earrings, an emerald choker necklace, a crystal ring, and a pair of moss green mojris. To go back to basics, the regal Nyra Saree may be a great choice for an office party or house party. If you wish to embellish this saree with a further note of distinction, we recommend adding fan earrings, a bead necklace, and a pair of mauve kitten heels.
